Kids are back in school and have mostly been on time these past 2 days. Getting up at 6am is no fun, especially after most days in vacation they slept until noon.
Anna is already reading Huck Finn for English and finding it interesting, but a bit hard to read. Her teacher suggested they also listen to the book on tape (or online).
Gabriel back to winter conditioning for rowing, hard to believe but they will be on the water in 2 months. It has been hovering around freezing weather all week, so he is glad they are indoors, but the boathouse is not heated!! Still very cold workouts.
Sound of Music rehearsals and production is underway. Anna is a nun and a trio (one of the singing groups in the final scene). She is excited. Costumes have begun and some are already done, just need fittings.
