Busy weekend

Anna was confirmed today at our 12noon Mass with Bishop Stika.  He gave a lovely homily, talking about his recent meeting with Pope Francis.  Anna did the first reading and although nervous, was very good.

Her godparents, Claire and Tony Quintanilla, were here for the weekend, along with their kids.  They made a special trip from Chicago to be here and it was good to see them.  Bogdan was even able to arrange for Tony to visit the lab and see his work. 

Only 6 more weeks of school or so, the kids are counting the days.  Marian has state testing all week this week (along with the rest of TN).  She is not too worried, but we hope she does her best.

Bogdan will head to NV this week for a meeting on a project, to Nellis AFB, and will be back on Friday.
