Nearing the end

School is nearing the end, less than 2 weeks left.

Thunderstorms have been off and on for 3 weeks now.  Marian has only had one game cancelled but her practices have all been rained out, so needless to say they are rusty during softball games.

Gabriel finished rowing for the season and will take it up again in the fall.  He is now officially my handy man, I give him a list of tasks to accomplish and he gets it done.  At $50 a week, I think I am getting the deal.

Anna is busy with end of the year exams and papers.  She just finished a paper on Fitzgerald and The Great Gatsby.  She is counting down the days to the end of school (everyone is!).

There have been 4 funerals in the past 4 days.  I did the food for the first, and sang and played guitar for the other 3.  What a whirlwind.

We had a nice visit from our niece Meghan and her friend yesterday.  They spent the day at Dollywood and we met them for dinner close by.  They have had a blast in TN and loved the scene in Nashville.
