School is in session and it's like they never went away for summer at all. They are bustling in the morning to get out, arguing about their wardrobe choices, and grumbling about the early wake-up calls (not in that order, of course).
Rowing has begun, and with that still no new head coach. We are hoping that news will come soon about that. They did hire an assistant coach, although the boys haven't worked with her too much yet.
Masquers begins today and auditions for the fall play, an adaptation of Jane Austen's "Emma", will be soon. Anna, of course, will be auditioning and I will be busy with my costume crew making Regency period costumes.
Marian has not conquered the trumpet yet, but says she can always fall back on the clarinet, which she taught herself to play in one afternoon. Girl Scouts will begin in September.
Max is adjusting to life in America, and going to Oak Ridge High School. He may be changing some of his classes, but for now likes Engineering and History. Of course, he likes going to German class, since he can talk in German for 45 minutes straight.
Our Pastor, Fr. Bede Aboh, celebrated his 25th ordination anniversary this past week and we had a big celebration with 18 priests in attendance and the bishop at the Mass.
