School starts tomorrow

The kids are all ready for school, they have their schedules all set, their backpacks all packed.  Gabriel is still finishing his summer homework.  He had a lot of reading and a number of reports to write, and still getting them done.  Anna finished her reading, but no assignments, she's happy there.  Marian had no summer reading, the joys of being young.

Marian is excited to get a locker, start band (trumpet), wear contacts, and walk to and from school (it's very close).  Anna is looking forward to interning as a teacher aide for 2nd grade, doing color guard, and taking Advanced Women's Chorus.  Gabriel has a pretty full schedule, but will hopefully manage it, taking only 3 AP classes, 2 Honors classes and one regular one.  He found out he got a 5 (highest grade) on his Computer Science AP test from last year.  Our final kid, Max, arrives today.  He is our German exchange student.  I will spend the day with him tomorrow, getting things ready and signing him up for classes.  This year will certainly be an immersion experience.
